FORMER NFL STARS TERRELL OWENS AND JAKE PLUMMER TO HEADLINE CELEBRITY DOUBLES MATCH AT PICKLE MONEY BALL MESA EVENT

— Celebrity Match Featuring Pro Players Emilia Schmidt and Kyle Koszuta to Kick Off Inaugural $600,000 Tournament โ€“

Pickle Money Ball today announced that former NFL standouts Terrell Owens and Jake Plummer will headline a celebrity doubles match during the inaugural $600,000 Pickle Money Ball Tournament at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Arizona.

Scheduled for March 19โ€“20, 2026, the $600,000 Pickle Money Ball Tournament is the highest-paying amateur pickleball tournament in the United States. The special celebrity match on March 21, at 2 p.m. MT, will feature Owens and Plummer teaming up with professional pickleball players Emilia Schmidt and Kyle Koszuta for a featured exhibition to kick off the inaugural event.

โ€œIโ€™m always excited to play pickleball,โ€ said Plummer. โ€œBut getting the chance to play in the U.S.โ€™s largest amateur tournament alongside T.O. is going to be something special.โ€

Fans will be able to watch all the action on the PickleMoneyBall.com website, with the complete broadcast schedule being released later this week. The schedule will include details on the celebrity doubles matchup along with the full lineup of semifinal and championship coverage across divisions.

Terrell Owens is a Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver and one of the most productive pass catchers in NFL history. During his 15-year career, Owens recorded more than 15,900 receiving yards and 153 touchdowns, ranking among the leagueโ€™s all-time leaders. He played for several teams including the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Jake Plummer is a former NFL quarterback who played 10 seasons in the league with the Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos. Plummer helped lead the Broncos to multiple playoff appearances during the mid-2000s.

The Mesa event is one of two $600,000 tournaments on the 2026 Pickle Money Ball schedule. A second $600,000 event will take place in November 2026 at The Fort Pickleball Facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with exact dates to be announced.
