2. Nominate Your Events

Before you compete in your tournament or league event, nominate yourself through the VSQ system. You donโ€™t need to winโ€”just place. All events must have publicly verifiable results.

Nominate means you declare your competitions to earn PMB points. Verified results are required โ€” see our Nomination page for examples.

3. Compete & Earn Points

Head to the court, compete at any tournament, and weโ€™ll track your results. Points are awarded based on your performance.

4. Climb the Leaderboard & Qualify

Your points move you up the PMB leaderboard. The higher you climb, the closer you are to qualifying for major tournaments.

How Do Bonus Points Work?

Tournaments listed on PickleballTournaments.com qualify for Bonus Points โ€” these boost your total based on participation and finish.

For every 10 entries, two additional bonus positions are added.

Example Breakdown:

EntriesBonus PositionsBonus Structure
10 entriesTop 21st +40%, 2nd +35%
20 entriesTop 41st +40%, 2nd +35%, 3rd +30%, 4th +25%
30 entriesTop 61st +40%, 2nd +35%, 3rd +30%, 4th +25%, 5th +20%, 6th +15%
40 entriesTop 81st +40%, 2nd +35%, 3rd +30%, 4th +25%, 5th +20%, 6th +15%, 7th +10%, 8th +5%

These bonuses are percentage multipliers added to your base points for that event.

Example:

  • A 1st place finish worth 1,000 points at a verified 40-entry tournament = 1,400 total points after the +40% bonus.

Example:

You are nominated into a 32-player tournament (Division 1 – $50).

You place 3rd and earn 850 base points.

Because the tournament is verified with 32 entries, you get a +30% bonus, bringing your total to 1,105 points.
